Most people have heard of the paradox of the self-driving car. Simply put, if a self-driving car is given a scenario where it has to hit an old lady, or swerve and take out a stroller with a baby...what will it do? What should it do?

Today, we are simple developers creating solutions for ourselves or our professors. But tomorrow, we will create software that will affect the world. I find that fascinating. I understand why we must learn the ethics and morals of what we are doing. This course teaches us to critically think about others and their perspectives so that we can build a welcoming and progressive system.
