The Cuckoo's Egg has brought me to ponder one of today's major controversial topics, which is privacy vs freedom. Because Stoll's book came out over 33 years ago, it is shed in a different...but also very familiar light. I am fascinated about the connections you can make about what his book warns of, and discusses. What was one of the biggest controversies about the internet back then, is its biggest controversy now.

Stoll helps us understand that the internet will always have a hand and influence in everything to happen throughout the world. We must protect it in certain ways that will allow it to protect people rather than undermine and exploit.
